88 K5 Blazer 4x4 wheels/lift

Hey guys, I have a buddy that has a 88 K5 Blazer 4x4 and he wants to do a 6in lift with 37s what would be a good wheel backspacing to use? Thanks for the help

What size wheels is he running? Also is he planning on trimming his fenders? 37" will rub the fenders with 6" lift.

How will he use the k5 also?37s on the stock axles rock crawling things are gonna break.If its more a mud truck/ daily driver they should be ok.And he should re gear the axles to match the tires.

He's mainly going to be using it as a daily but mudding as well. What gearing should he use to match with the 37s?

18" wheels should clear the brakes. So he can run what ever back spacing he wants. It all comes down to looks at that point. He knows with 37s he should expect to break stuff often. 1/2 axles handle up to 35" tires.

I don't know. Of all the wheels I've put on all my trucks, I have no idea what the backspacing was. I've never had backspacing brought up when buying wheels. I think it's usually around 4".
