Rebuild kit for a 1953 3-Speed Transmission - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Happy new Year.

I allready received my rebuild kit. But now i have a new problem with the roller bearings (needle bearings). Dissasembling was easy

....but the rebuild of this litte needles is very tricky.
Have someone special tricks for me to replace them?

I always use white lithium grease (Lubriplate) to hold needle bearings in place. Sticky enough to hold, but not to thick to affect spacing. Also is compatible with tranny greases and oils.
