Rally cap cleanup

I learned something today and thought I would pass it on. this will be old news to some some not. I was cleaning and painting some rally wheels and could not understand why they paint over the chrome on the rally caps. I soaked one in paint stripper and this is what I got. I think it looks much better put them side to side to compare

Re: Rally cap cleanup

Yes they look great. I discovered that trick years ago. What did you use for stripper? I went to my buds body shop and got some good stuff and soaked them for only 5 minutes and the paint fell iff them.
