Full foam seat

I found a pretty nice full foam seat today. The cover is almost perfect. It appears to just have light rust on the frame. All it needs is the frame cleaned up and handle spring replaced. I'm thinking about getting it for my 67. I left my cellphone in the car so I didn't get a pic. Is $100 a reasonable offer? Thoughts?

Re: Full foam seat

What about the foam and cover? New foam is $250-300 and new covers are about the same. It adds up fast. If the foam is good that's a fair price. If the cover is still presentable with no tears that's a great price.

Re: Full foam seat

$100 sounds cheap to me. If you are satisfied with the condition, you probably won't find one any cheaper. Good luck.

Re: Full foam seat

Thanks for the replies! The foam and cover are in really good shape. There's only one small spot that looks like something almost poked through, but very minor. I'll let you know how it works out.

Re: Full foam seat

Here's the seat. The light blue is the same color as my original seat and the darker blue is the same color as my dash pad. The adjuster needs a little attention, but I don't think it will take much to fix. There are a few small spots in it and the side on the drivers side is showing some cracking. It could use a more thorough washing as well.
