Like 68350 said it's a chevy emblem on a GMC grill, however, it's a GMC front clip and a different color. It would take a lot of fabrication to put 4 headlights on a chevy core support plus I'm not sure the GMC grill would not fit 71 chevy front fenders.

Looks like a beat-up 71-72 style front bumper. The GMC would have the turn signal/parking lamps under the headlights above the bumper, you can see where they go in the picture.

You can see there is a front clip in the bed, probably came off that truck. I wonder if he actually wired all 4 headlights, or maybe took the front harness with the GMC clip.
