Re: so how big of a mess is your shop?

In addition to wrenching on my personal toys, I own a landscape contracting co that I started a few years ago. We are so busy in the summer and I'm so disorganized, the 14x24 shop behind my house became crammed full of crap I just threw in. My 2 car carport was the same way. Last week, me, one of my workers, and my neighbor who is currently storing his S10 V8 conversion project in my shed so the city doesn't hassle him further ( but just while he builds the engine) spent the entire week cleaning up the shop and carports. It's incredible the amount of room we made. Compressor, generators, pressurewasher, drill press, table saw, grinder, band saw, vise, and work bench all are now accessible. Just have to roll his S10 out to use it lol. Meanwhile, my Jeep Scrambler, x2 '63 C10 and GMC sit outside and my '71 El Camino gets 1/2 the carport. I'm considering getting a 2 car aluminum "temp" carport to put the Jeep and C10 under until I find a real shop to rent or buy.
