Thoughts on 2007 L92/6L80
I know there is a separate WIW section but I figured I wouldn't get much LSX traction in there.
I have the opportunity to pick up a 80,000 mile 2007 L92/6L80 complete pullout from an Escalade w/ all accessories, harness, and ECM (no pedal) for $3k. I've done a lot of research on the LSX swaps. However not until recently have I even thought about using a 6l80. This will be going in a 71' C10. What are your thoughts on the 3k pricetag??? Last edited by conman585; 12-14-2014 at 05:41 PM. That's not a bad price for everything.

Assuming everything is in good condition I would jump on it. I'd kill for that setup for my 66.

I have that setup in a 63 c10.
Are you sure that engine came out of a escalade? That's an aluminum block 5.3 with ls6 heads from my understanding. It came in very few suburbans, tahoes, and yukons. |
