Smile Very Nice Ebay '68 Shorty (original)

Here is a very nice little truck....at least from the Ebay ad.
I appreciate the original condition and the 45k original miles bit...and it looks pretty original but ya' never know.
Regardless, its getting lot of financial/bidding interest for what appears to be a bone stock truck with a 307....which is a good market indicator to some degree.
All Good

Might, I don't know. I know my all original 68 stepside with 22K miles was purchased in bastrop, la and it had one on it. I'm the second owner. So I know the history of the truck.

Really nice truck!

I think that the spare tire is supposed to be mounted the other way, withthe backside down. Anyone else have input?

Its a very nice truck. I just wish that people wouldn't put "All Factory Original" when this one clearly is not. It's a very very nice recondition of a nice truck.

My dad bought a new 68 six cylinder in Harrison, Arkansas, and it had an air pump.

Very nice original light restoration. Don't want to pick it apart but somethings are not 100% correct , but well worth the price.

I was thinking of checking out that truck and bringing it up here. Looks decent & at $3000USD I'd be into it at $4000CAD which is around it's value here in BC. Around $2000-2500 would be a better buy of course.

This has been for sale for awhile at $5800 all original with "patina" lol These trucks here don't have the value they do down south I find.

Plus it's "GREEN".It is an Import to Canada I believe due to the round sticker on the door. If you do bring the 68 up, call me I'm definitely interested. Call me. I will be in Kelowna Jan 14-18th. Maybe we can meet somewhere.

Re: Very Nice Ebay '68 Shorty (original)

When you guys talk about "light resto" and such and incorrect things could you list them? As some know I'm going to start restoring my 68 K10 Shortbed Golden Anniversary and I really want to nail the accuracy side of things. I was going to use a lot of these pics as reference so would appreciate the insights.

Re: Very Nice Ebay '68 Shorty (original)

I did notice the RV Junior mirrors like mine is optioned but perhaps the "custom group" option deletes those.

Okay, read the full eBay ad--it's been repainted. Can't figure out how that's "all original" anymore....
