what to look out for?
What are problem areas on a 1990 Chevy suburban body seems good...supposed to see one Saturday but owner seems kind of vague on info...I know the frame by the gearbox is a concern. Says I need to see it myself, but that suspension is not great...whatever that means. Leaking areas I need to look for. Just anything besides the normal stuff tires/batt/alt/starter/tune up/brakes/oil change or fluid flush.
1990 Chevy suburban 350 unsure of trans. Miles unknown. As always thanks for all advice/experience.

Re: what to look out for?
Being a 90 the trans should be a 700r4 or trubo 400 if its 3/4 ton or bigger. As far as the frame cracking around the steering box its more common on 4x4s but can happen on 2wd also.Check for rust everywhere from the body to the frame. If it has a roll down back window make sure that works.

Re: what to look out for?
^Thanks...its a few hundred bucks so not expecting much as far as body goes, as for gearbox cracking frame my truck is an 84 swb 1/2 ton and I had the frame welded. But after dealing that, it scares the h%ll out of me to half to go through it again. I will inspect it very well. He wants $850 but will try to get him to $7-750 tops if it has serious issues.
How can I convert a 350 TBI over to carb?
