Re: I hate getting burned
Wow....that looks like a 'rust belt' truck...ie: Michigan, Ontario, etc.
Its not uncommon for a truck to simply move south like people so just because a truck is located in the south at the time of sale doesn't always mean it spent its life there. One of the giveaways on northern trucks is that they rarely have a/c in them...no need. Regardless, you've got a project ahead of you and it looks like you are well on your way to solving it out. Everything can be fixed so go for it!! All Good Coley

Re: I hate getting burned
I almost never give advice. I have too much to learn.
Ears first, mouth third. But, I'm breaking my rule right now. Beg, borrow or steal whatever you have to. PM RenoKeene (who is as good a person as ever opens his/her browser to the Forum). And then make the trip to Inverness for his cab. The title issues will seem like a chocolate eclair eating contest up against trying to stop that Florida Bloom. Seriously.

Here is a good donor cab over on the parts board (SC) - give you an idea.

Re: I hate getting burned
That sucks on the hidden rust. I'll be watching for your repairs.
