Re: Frustrated

There's a guy up here in Lehigh valley pa craigslist that keeps posting his for 5 grand with a lot of extras. Needs a full resto but the body looks to be in decent condition. Don't know how far you're willing to go but at least you a teeny hoping to win a auction 5 hours from home. Good luck.

Re: Frustrated

Auction site posted up the sales prices; looks like the yellow one sold for $28K;
I think it has a 7% buyers premium on top so add $1,960. Total $29600 was the price the buyer paid to get it.
Not sure on the sellers side, but 3% to 5% is not unusual so the seller pocketed somewhere around $28,500.

Your bronco looks like it will fetch a good amount of money. Shouldn't have any trouble finding a decent blazer after you sell it. Craigslist and hope you find one soon.
I beg to differ on the all 71-72 having 4 wheel disc brakes. I've owned 5 of them and all were disc up front and drum in the rear.

I guess too some people that truck was nice... Slick paint , nice interior, detailed engine... I knew the truck was going to bring big money and I just didn't want to pay for some hidden rust and repairs Lately I'm beginning to think these Blazers are bringing more money then bronco's or people are very proud of them.. I'm thinking of just enjoying my jeep and keeping my bronco

Re: Frustrated

It took me 3 years to find a blazer in my budget that I could take home. Turns out I found it only 6 miles from my home at the time...lucky score! Don't put a timetable on finding a truck would be my humble opinion. Keep looking and you'll eventually find one you're willing to move on.

I love the other rides in your stable by the way, great collection!

Re: Frustrated

I bought a 72 cst medium red Ac truck out of California rust free for $6500
Needs resto. I'm going to have it painted in Cali from the same guy I bought it from. I've been talking with him for a couple of years on the Blazers he's sold n restored... I'll post some pics soon . Couldn't find one finished and I really didn't want to deal with any rust? How is your brothers bronco doing? Is he happy with the work so far? I bought a original hickey tire carrier like yours and hickey roof rack.. Starting too collect my Acc n factory additional options I want..

Re: Frustrated

Congrats on finding a blazer! Looking forward to see how it turns out, and based on your collection, I'm sure it'll be mint!

Good luck with the build!

Re: Frustrated

I think his bronco is kind in that situation where they will work on it when they have no collision work. He doesn't seem to mind as he just bought a new jeep as a toy. Good luck on the finds and looking forward to pics and seeing another one around town.
