engine ?
Will a newer style (88-89) intake work on an older style heads. I am wanting to put a throtle body on my truck. and will a old style intake fit on a newer style heads. I have a chance to get a 383 stroker for my engine. the only problem is it is an 88 block and heads and I dont want to have to buy a new intake. help please

No-center 2 bolts on intake are drilled at a different angle--2nd question same thing in reverse.

You can take a drill bit and drill out the middle bolt holes to make the tbi intake work on older heads, I have done it several times myself. And if you wanted to spend the money, you could just buy a 4 bbl intake to tbi adaptor plate from summit and save the trouble. I can pull up the part number if you want, Frank
