Re: Is my truck rare?

factory AC in 1967 has to be fairly rare. 1967 with Big back window = very desireable

Re: Is my truck rare?

The majority of the 1967 trucks I've ever seen have been small back window. 1967 was intended to be the last year of the small back window. The "Panoramic Window" - option code RPO A10 - was available as an option.

For the first time in forever, not a single 67-72 Chevy truck, Blazer, or Suburban on the property! Basically retired and getting the new Motorhome ready for some traveling. Doing a bit of work on the house getting it ready to sell! LOL!!

Re: Is my truck rare?

No one has mentioned the fact that you (the original poster) removed the VIN plate from the cab?!

That could be a big no-no. You aren't able to buy the correct rivets to place it back on the cab.

I don't see anywhere where he said he removed the VIN. You can see color underneath them without removing them... and the rivets are still available (from this place and quite a few others):

Re: Is my truck rare?

The VIN has been removed from the door jam based on the pics the OP posted. Did you removed the VIN tag or still have it? The glove box door will have the SPID which will list the optionals for the truck. You want to have that, the VIN tag on the door frame and frame VIN all match to be correct. If one is off, then it could've been put together years ago.

Re: Is my truck rare?

The original poster should search the topic of rosette rivets and/or removing VIN plates.

Here is one to get you started:

To sum it up, it is likely illegal to remove VIN plates. It depends on your state's DMV rules.

Re: Is my truck rare?

The VIN had been painted over like 10 times i struggled to even read it so i took it off to clean it. Yea i know its a big no no but i dont plan on selling the truck ever so i am not worried about it but i do need to locate some factory style rivets i will check these links.
