Honestly, What is a 68 C10 daily driver worth?

Guys, i think i'm getting a little screwed by the insurance company.

I need to know what you think my truck would be worth before the incident.

I just got every leak stopped in the pickup. Engine cleaned. Tune up - plugs, wires, rotor, rotor cap, point, and condensor. new belt.

Just ordered an orginal 68 steering wheel.
Paid 240 for new tires. Aftermarket wheels. 250 3 on tree.

You tell me. PM me if you're a dealer in the springfield MO area.

What is the insurance company offering you for it? They usually look at Kelly's Blue Book and NADA and get an average between the two value estimates.

I don't know the exact specifications of your truck but I guessed and this is what I got from NADA.

You could start from here to put your trucks exact specifications in.

Hope this is promising.
Good luck.

threaten them

tell them you'll take them to court. their more likely to offer you the money you ask for than go to court and spend more....

Don't let them total it. If you let them you will have to sign the title over to the insurance company.
This means they give you s#!t for compensation and they get your ride. Don't let them get away with that. Let them know that the truck is irreplaceable then tell them that if you have to that you would find one comparable to yours and they could buy it for you. After that tell them you will call it even and you won't file a lawsuit against them.
Key word "lawsuit", they don't want to hear it.

You have to be aggressive with these schmucks or they will walk all over you. Hell, under the circumstances of your accident you could probably get personal compensation as well as compensation for your truck. Let them know how you feel and tell them that you have already contacted a lawyer.
