also im going to paint the rest of truck the yellow in the flames.the flames will be left on it.i was thinking of painting the ralleys that yellow also with new bands.or would they look better the factory silver/gray thanks THOSE ARE 7IN WHEELS IN PIC

Can't help you on the tire sizes but I'd leave the rims alone. BTW that is one of the coolest lwb trucks I've seen. Love the flames!

..............if your not going to lower your truck i would go with the 275/60's because the 295's are really short...i would leave the ralleyes silver...i think a yellow truck with yellow wheels would be to much yellow....and just to let you know you can buy 15"x10" truck ralleyes at summit for around $70 each as long as you get someone on the phone that knows what he is talking about cause the corvette ralleye that fits trucks is also called a truck ralleye.........

Those 7s have more backspacing than the 8s-- better to widen those if you don't want them sticking way out. (especially if you're running 8s on the front.) 255/60s & 275/60s.

thanks for the compliments its something about that pic I WISH IT REALLY LOOKED THAT GOOD LOL.the body work is 99% done and i decided to that i had to many projects with my other 72 and the wifes 69.got to much in it to sell/or part it so im just going to use it as daily driver once i change the ugly grille and bumper.when we done the flames just to see what it looked like it was about 25f painted em outside and drove it home as soon as spraying was done.ended up with alot of runs in yellow.when i paint the truck im going to redo the flames.
what would the wheels look like the orange in the flames with a yellow truck just trying to be different but not look to bad

275/60/15's look good on a 15x8. Nice and meaty, not too short like a 295/50. I would reccomend some 275's on the back and 255's on the front. I'm running that on my truck and it has a nice big 'n little look to it.
275/60's will fit a 15x10, but they are a tad bit narrow for the rim.

I agree with Yelow72custom. If you're stock height, go with the 275/60's, but if its a dropped truck, I prefer the 295/50's..................Jerry
