Anyone cut down there own upper trim for a blazer? is it better to start with a long bed trim or short bed. Does it make any difference?

Any tips on cutting trim?

Re: anyone cut down upper trim

I would put a piece of tape on it, as a straight line guide. Use a cut off wheel, leaving it slightly long, and finish it off by sanding the edge that last little bit.

Thanks I contacted mar-k and two different people told me they don't make it .

I was wondering if anyone buys the longhorn package trim since it would come with the two little rear pcs. And would only require one cut. Not sure if worth it or not

Re: anyone cut down upper trim

Thought so, planning on a lid like that as well, actually they're local to me and I've talked to them about doing one with a spoiler on it and made to work with my half top. Great looking truck you got there.
