67-68 lower side molding on a 69

I'm restoring/modifying a 69 C10 that was equipped with almost no options. I really like the lower side moldings from 67-68 more than the ones from 69-72.

I have seen people swap out the whole front clip but have not seen any with the lower side moldings.

If anyone has information, pictures or advice, I would appreciate your input.

Why not? Some people like bacon on a peanut butter sandwich. It's your truck, man.

I bought a full set of the 67-68 for my 70 but don't have them on yet. Search this topic- when I asked about it a lot of guys posted pics.

My bed is supposed to get done in the next few weeks and I'll be able to put mine on. Since I am not painting the truck, I'm going to have to live with the top holes for a while (a few years?). I guess I'll just leave em all ghetto style or maybe get some chrome skulls to fill the holes (jk).

I do need to find some adhesive trim mounts for it though. The 67-68 trim will cover but not fit using the '70 trim holes and I am not going to drill more.
