14/15 GMC fog lite blank upgrade - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I was looking all over to install foglites in those plain bumper blockoffs when I came across some LED's that just worked in beautiful and really makes it standout. Someone probably has done this but I hadn't seen it before. I wired them into the parklamps so they just come on with either parking or headlights and are fused with the parklamp fuse.

Now if someone could come up with the perfect fit high power foglites to fill in the tow hook block offs this would be killer smooth look front end......

What lights did you install?

Are they pointed straight forward?

Cheap on eBay $9.50 a pair with shipping. I got two sets popped a hole in the inside or grille side of the opening and slid it in and back under the outer lip. Fit snug without any bracket or tape. They slant slightly to the out from center about what the bumper cover looks like right above the lights. I really like the way they look but of course LED's aren't hi power driving lights.

Looks like we bought the same truck. Sorry for the dealers picture but that is the one I bought. They do have optional fog lights that go in that hole, saw them on one of the $45000 units.

Nice truck is that black ? I traded tires at the dealerto keep my Michelins instead of the Generals but then I bought a set of 20" takeoffs.
Yeah I priced out the bezels from GMC they were 69 each, a foglight wire harness off eBay that would come on with the parklamps was $118 or you can buy a switch on the dash and run a wire out to the relay and a pair of aftermarket lamps are about $50. Thought this was the look I wanted wasn't interested in the output of the fog lights. I got about 700 miles and read to tow when the new trailer comes in.
