99' tahoe(on 73') sway bar question(s)

Alright fellas(ladies) I am slowly putting my build together and I am checking to see if Tahoe's (1999 rear end) sway bar will work on my 73's frame. SO I got two questions; can I use dog bones(one is sitting on leaf spring) on the sway bar? Second question can I put dog bones at a 45 degree angle when connecting them to frame? The reason I ask about the angle is that indentation for shock is directly above sway bar. Here's a couple pics to give you an idea.....Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....
