Convert Turnsignals into Multifunction

Anyone have any luck in converting the turn sign stalk into multiple functions - such as a headlight high beams switch (with a proper relay) - similar to a modern day car/truck?

Or pull it all out of a newer vehicle. I am going to try to get my wiper switch on there and add delay with stuff from a mid 80s c20

I looked and I believe the Ron Francis unit will do exactly what I would like. I will have to investigate it further.
