I did a somewhat similar bed . Raised the fenders on the bed 1". Raised the bed on the frame 1". Added a splice of sheet metal in the fender to lower the body line back down and line the step up again. Tires are 31x 14 with 17" sidewall to sidewall. Rim is a 14" wide wheel. With a 28" tall tire you should clear no problem.

Nope, no turbo, no LS. ZZ572 big block with longtube headers. Factory rates it at 620 but the longtubes add just a bit. You look up the specs.
