Need Power
Hey i just got an 86 K10 SWB with a 305. Is there any things i can do to it, or cheap tricks that work to get more power out of it that are relatively easy to do? The 305 is just slightly underpowered for my liking, but dont want to do anything drastic to the motor. Let me hear your suggestions, NICK

Bolt a new intake, carb, and some headers off to dual exhaust -- Easy to do, and you'll be surprised by how much it helps. If you want to do one more bolt on upgrade, put Vortec heads on with a Vortec intake, headers, a carb and dual exhaust, it'll add tons of power.
