I have a good one for y'all!!!!!

Okay so I recently purchased a 78 gmc Sierra for $500. This truck is weird! Every thing checks out on vin, truck originally had a 5.7 120 diesel (now just a 350), it's a stepside bed truck, hydroboost brakes, steps on bed looks like they had smoke stacks on it, heavy duty leafs, stock radio with built in CB, cab visor on front, fin on back, western turbine wheels, shag carpet up to the headliner! Air horn on top. This is what I though was really weird, truck has dual tanks, but only a gas spout on the passenger side, back of cab and front of bed is the factory yellow color. how does that happen? Was this truck a rare option not including the accessories ofcourse someone put on. Thanks!!

Re: I have a good one for y'all!!!!!

Many guys added the second tank and use a cross over tube between the two to fill them both at the same time.

I've seen scavenge pumps that pump fuel from the second tank to the first so that only one gauge sender is used and no selector switch/valve is used...

or they've added a tank selector switch and valve and both tanks will have a gauge sender.

... or maybe you cut it open and it's full of cocaine!!!

Yes it's got the lines but idk if it's hooked up, smelt like diesel to, and it's a factory mounted tank.
I'll sell the whole bed for 200

Lol, idk whats up with it, this truck holds a lot of stories and secrets I guess. It doesn't seem to have a tube going to the other I don't think

Does it have the glove box SPID? The paper showing the options it had when new? It looks to me like a GM/Dealer version of the Dodge LIL RED EXPRESS! We should dig deeper into this...........
