Question Grinding noise when I turn left...

Everytime I turn left I'm getting this clack-clack-clack noise. Almost like a grinding, but the pitch is higher. Not sure what has changed.....it sat for a few weeks and then started making this noise. What should I check for? Thanks for any help.

This may seem like a bone head thing to check, but mine was doing the exact same thing, only grinding when i turned left, i replaced brakes, wheel bearings, and it was still doing it, i had about decided to take it somewhere, and i was checking all the little things before i took it to a shop, and noticed that the fan shroud bolts were loose and the fan was getting into it when i turned, i pulled it over and tightened the bolts and the grinding is gone. Might be worth looking at before tearing the front hubs apart

Good luck

Had that once, turned out to be the wheel weight sliding around the rim......

Had loaned it out and came back with suspension damage........haven't loaned out a vehicle since....

Oh man...my shroud is rigged because the top corners are broken off...so the bolts are in a different place. Need a new shroud...so that may be it.

I had put some new wheels on my truck once and they were clearing the caliper ever so slightly.. unless you turned left. Found out that the previous owner had trimmed the right one enough for previous wheels but I had put on a new err different caliper.. another one for thought?
