Need Tail light Help!!!
Hi Everyone: Need some advise, curently re doing box on my 68 Stepside, and I've come up with the idea, I want to mount my tail lights this time in my rear roll pan to get them out of the way and give my truck a different look. Anyone got any suggestions on where I could find these tail lights. I've looked in sites with roll pans and haven't seen any. I can't remember exactly where I bought this roll pan from, but I think their pretty much the same for all companies. Well thanks in advance for the help.

Did you want to mount the lights inside the roll pan (cut holes into it and weld into holes)? Or did you just want to find brackets that would allow you to mount to the roll pan?
This might be a do it yourself home modification job.

Thats what I figured Larry, actually I'd like to mount lights inside the roll pan, so it has a real custom look, but we will be doing this at home ourselves. JoAnne

go out to a parts yard and find a rear end off about a 64 impala and yank the taillights and all the mounting hardware, that would be pretty cool looking i think

There are lots of possibilities-I am working on this one for my F-100. I frenched in half of a 68 Firebird light on each side. I like this one because it includes a back-up light in the same opening. Companies like MAR-K have some billet lamps designed to install in their pans, so you might check out their website.
Good Luck!

they got about a zillion roll pans out there with lights already in them. To find about a hundred of those get a trucking magazine. They got all kinds of vendors in there and most of em have websites where you can browse and look around
