Re: Air suspension
Ride Tech has rear bag kit I used. Other than that Firestone 2600 bags, and Schrader valves holding me up.

Re: Air suspension
You know .. I was thinking of doing the same. My question would be how low can you go with doing a minimal C notch on the rear frame and air bags front and back. Does anyone have pictures to use as reference?

Re: Air suspension
There is 2 more inches to go, shocks limited. The pumpkin on my 12 bolt pokes threw a little.

Re: Air suspension
Look up way2low2 on here. He has a kit that is cheap and uses mostly stock parts.

Re: Air suspension
It also depends on tire size also. I'm rolling on 205/75 all around. This size will allow you to roll aired out and leaving your inner fenders intact. The pumpkin is about an inch away from hitting wood.
The kit is from AZ Pro Performance. It includes a Porterbuilt Stage 1 front, Stage 2 rear basic, dropped spindles with disc fronts, and all manual management. Liked it so much I had to do it twice, no regrets at all. Look 'em up at azproperfomance.com. Travis at AZ will hook you up.

Re: Air suspension
Look around the vendors on here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=210 And stay far away from airbagit.com and chassis tech both are the same company and are known for making junk.

On another subject, if you're gonna roll on steelies, your originals will not work. You'll have rubbing issues. 72' Blazer on 4x4's will work. They come 6 lug, and have 4 nubs on the front for the caps, where you originals have 3. These from Wheel Vintiques are cool too because you have a choice of caps. I will be updating my membership soon here for I got some parts to sell and these will also be on the list. I scored some 4 nubs for the OG caps.

Re: Air suspension
Love those trucks!
We offer a range of air ride kits for the C10's. We can always put together a kit based on the look you going for and your budget. Some kit are missing components, such as an adjustable trac bar, etc. I try and do full kits, so you get a well rounded suspension package, but can do it in stages to. Give me a call and be glad to go over some options and details. Travis |
