K10 stock height?

I am in the process of accumulating parts to build a truck. among my collection I have two rolling chassis. a 1970 3/4 ton and a 1971 1/2 ton. they both have 3 leaf front springs. I always thought the 3/4 tons were taller than the 1/2 ton. they are both the same height.

Another thing I noticed is that the spring hanger for the front of the rear springs is located 2" lower on the 1/2 ton (hence, making the frame taller).

I am curious on what the stock height is supposed to be on the two types of trucks because I plan on using the 1/2 ton chassis and I also got a deal on a 6" lift kit and want to know if I am going to end up 6" higher or 4" higher. right now the rear of the frames are about 25" from the ground with tires that are about30".
