There are some disc brake kits that come with 5 on 4 3/4" bolt pattern, but they are lighter duty than the truck. Don't do this swap is my opinion.

Best way is as suggested as above. But if all front end parts are in good shape (as were my 69 short step with only 66,000 miles) then the easy solution is spindles designed for discs and the 67-70 tie rods and ball joints.

For the rear you can buy conversion axles and new drums or get a later rear axle. The later axle (71-72) is an inch and one half wider. I went this route to fit the wheel/tire combo I wanted.

Buy a disc conversion kit from Early Classic Enterprises. They have top notch products and service.
