Not sure. I got this with a group of parts, and there was no box. 1 & 3/4 bore, 2 & 5/8 air cleaner base, manuel choke. Looks like it takes a 5/16 fuel line, and a 3/16 metal vacuum line to the dist. I don't see any numbers on it.

I can't find any numbers, but I would bet that this carb is for 67-72 230s and 250s. I think the 292s had a bigger one. It's been a while, but I have worked on them before, and if my memory is correct, this is it. I got this with a pile of 67-72 chevy truck parts.

This is a Rochester B carb. It was used on 67's. 68's on up had the Rochester MV style carb which were more square-ish in shape.

Thanks for the info, Brad. I knew it was just a matter of time before someone figured it out. I showed it to a parts dealer a few minutes ago, and he said the same, pre '68. I would think that it would still work on later models, but not sure.

This carb uses a rod linkage so you couldn't use it with the cable style linkage unless you swapped it out.

There was only one size for these carbs. It'll fit a 292, 250, or 230 but it all depends on the linkage you've got.
