pinion angle
I am getting ready to change the rear end in my 67 gmc that has leaf springs. I need to relocate the spring perches. How do I measure the angle to be sure I have it correct?

Jwill41,
When I did this, I levelled the rear and put a bubble level on the saddle pad. Then put a magnetic protractor across the flat surfaces of the third member yolk and read the angle. You can pick up a magnetic protractor for $10-15 at Home Depot. Good Luck!
