Re: Confession:

Confession: my boss will buy almost any car with a red interior. I have a aston martin vantage and mercedes SLS on the lot right now. The SLS is a convert, meaning no gull wing doors. Why would anyone buy a SLS without gullwing doors? Because it has a red interior. I've had porsche 911's, BMW M's, ferrari's and range rovers with red interiors as well. I call them porno red.

Re: Confession:

Red interior in a silver European sports car of the '50s/60s is straight up sexy! I love red interiors in certain vehicles. Don't care for maroon as much, though. My '67 GMC project will have a bright red interior. It's funny because what I like the most are natural colors like tan to browns the most. But red is sporty. I've heard others say they hate red interiors as well. To each his own. I like any color interior in the right place

Re: Confession:

The only, and I mean the only thing that I am not thrilled about on my 99 is the maroon interior. The only good thing about it is it's not bright red. It can always be changed if it bothers me enough.

I did change the seats from nasty pleather to cloth:

Re: Confession:

Red is nice, depending what it is. I had a 92 FS blazer that had a real nice red interior. But maroon is kinda ugly. Even worse is leather maroon, looks like someone slaughtered a cow in there.....

Re: Confession:

I'd likely trade for a just-as-clean gray interior as red is not my favorite. It's grown on me. It's just too nice to rip out and replace.

Re: Confession:

They work well on an orange truck.

Other than that, I prefer tan leather.

Re: Confession:

^ Yeah, that's what I said until I saw it, actually looks good. I like orange for hotrods, there's not really any other color that works right with it IMHO.
