Color combos

I am working on the interior of my 71 C10 right now. The current seat is black but needs some repairs which I have started on. My intentions were to just go with black on black color scheme with a just a few pieces of chrome around the cab. But I have come across a brand new bench seat for a pretty decent price. Bad part is that it is dark blue velour material. So my question is..

Does anyone have pictures of a truck that utilizes a dark blue velour material or similar on the interior? I feel like that if I went with black paint and dark blue trim and upholstery it would look wierd. Do you guys have any suggestions on a good color combo utilizing the dark Blue velour color? Pictures would be awesome. Thanks guys.

Re: Color combos

Black trucks with factory blue interiors were not too uncommon. In fact I like them very much.

Re: Color combos

I really like black with blue interior. I wouldn't mind building a 71-72 truck that way

Re: Color combos

A few more. The last two are not in the factory style but it is nice enough in its own way. Ideally it should have a blue dash pad and blue matting or carpet to tie it all together.

Like a blue bucket interior in a solid black Cheyenne Super/30 stepside? :-)
Another of my favorites is much rarer, green inside a black truck.

Parchment/white is a great choice but tough to keep clean.

Re: Color combos

I bought the seats. I have questions though. They are not the same as my current seats. Any ideas what year truck these are out of? The guys said they me even be out of a dodge. They even look like they have a makers mark on the back. Possibly NOS seats?????? What do you guys think. Will post pics later battery on phone is going to die.

Re: Color combos

As promised...
The best I can make out on the "makers mark" is

"BURTON-D??IE"
"864933-B?H"
"3-8-68"

Wifes input

"B?RTON-DIXIE"
"864933-R9H"
"3-8-68"

Final Guess is
"BURTON-DIXIE"
"864933-R9H"
"3-8-68"
