timing question

Hey guys I have a 72 c10 with a 5.7liter v8 350. My timing right now is 6° after 0° and I need to know what the timing is supposed to be set at. Thanks guys!!

That big 'A' on the tab means Advanced. Or in other words before top dead centre. AKA BTDC.
Stock might be 6 degrees but with the crap fuel we have now you need to set it at 12 or higher.
What other mods to your motor do you have?

Not one other mod it's a stock engine with electronic ignition

Set it at 12 to 14.
Remember to plug the vac line to the vac advance on the dizzy when you set it.

Okay I set it at 12, and it sounds and drives SO much better now. It was all the way at -6 before and its perfect now!! Thank you both!!
