Actually looks better than I thought it would. The good thing is if you get tired of it then its not that hard to go back to the way it was.

I've always liked the look of trim rings with dog dishes on a variety of vehicles.

Re: How About Dog Dishes With Trim Rings

Are the dog dishes the same for 15,16 and 16.5 rims?

16 inch 3/4 ton dog dish caps have six black "windows". I really like the narrow beauty rings.

Problem is these are 88 and up wheels..If want to use the dog dishes I'm going to have to install some clips of some sort. Then there is no going back.

I have tape holding them on so I could see how it would look.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Not sure if yall are referring to my question. I saw some on eBay and the 15s show 10 1/2 inner diameter and the another add for 16s showed the same inner diameter.

For your question, they have different diameter caps based on the cap/wheel. Pass car's & small trucks typically used 9 1/8". Large pass cars & 1/2 ton trucks got 10 1/8". And if I recall, even bigger trucks w/16+" wheels had larger caps (~11" ?? I cant remember the bigger trucks dimension off hand).

My comment was the dog dish w/trim ring on a 15" wheel looks crowded.

Rim diameter has nothing to do with it. The answer is "yes", if the wheels are 5 or 6 lug and "no", if wheels are 8 lug. There are 1/2t hubcaps and 3/4t-1t hubcaps. It's the lug pattern that matters because an 8-lug requires a larger diameter. There are 15" 8-lug wheels and there are 16" & 16.5" 5 & 6 lug wheels

Mine are 16" eight lug. I'll post a pic if I can figure that out - and/or you force me to.
