Interested. Any rust issues witht the frame? Is it swing arm or leaf spring rear suspension? Condition of the cab above the windshield?

Re: 68 cab free w/ purchase of rolling chassis.

I posted on Facebook (Todd Rusk) also.

I am very interested and if there is not rust seperation on the rear frame above where the coil springs sit then I will take it but it will be next weekend before I can pick it up. I am coming down for the Nashville swap meet.

Thanks, looks good on top. Check out the swing arms/ trailing arms for rust separation and weakness. Up here where everything is rusted, I find a lot of frames rusted out where it is double plated in the rear and the trailing arms rust and break apart so I just want to make sure this one is solid. I had a 71 a few weeks ago the left frame rail was rusted and cracked in to at the trailing arm cross member. No wonder the sheet metal is rusted when the frames can not even take it.

Thanks, I will get more pictures of the fender. Do you only want the one fender?

I can not remember but are you the guy from Clarksville that I bought the suspension and frame parts from last year on my way to Nashville swap meet? I do not think the name is correct but thought I would ask. I have dealt with to many guys and my brain does not remember some of them. LOL

Thanks a lot for the offer to hold for me. The only think that concerns me so far is in the 1st frame picture in post 12 where I see the lower frame rail and the plate spread open and rust scale inbetween. That is where there get bad around here. If the metal is still solid then itr can probably be cleaned up and be ok. Would Saturday morning be ok?
