Baggin the front of a 61
Do any of you guys have pics of the LCA and how you made lower bag mounts for them?
It looks like 64-66 upper bag plate will work just fine on the 61. Thanks!

Re: Baggin the front of a 61
pics are on my phone...its simple,..plate the bottom of the arms and mount the bags to to plate...I didn't use upper mount plates,..the 61 already has plate up there due to no coil springs...ill post pics later from my phone

Re: Baggin the front of a 61
Great pics.. So that upper area is flat to mount the bag? I thought it had a curve to it.. The access hole is a great idea too..
What size bags did you use? 2500# or 2600# and are they 7" round? Looks like you have plenty of clearance on the sides. When you removed the torsion bars, do they just slide out of the control arms? Did you keep the torsion bar cross-member or remove it?

Re: Baggin the front of a 61
upper area is flat enough to mount the bags,..just got to get the positioning just right so your bolt holes are on solid steel and the fitting ends up in the open area..its a bit tricky,..i used 2600 bags in front 8" round...had to clearance the arms a bit to make room...my pics show some of that clearance
