There are some pictures in this thread that show what the end if the lock shaft should look like. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=561226 Does yours look the same? Maybe the end of the shaft is missing the little tab or the hole in the latch that the shaft fits through is worn. Post some pictures when you can.
