Chevy bread truck help id the frame
Hey everybody. I bought a old bread truck. Haha. Its a chevy frame and running gear with a grumman-olson kurbside body. Guess it was common to do this. Anyways. I need to kno how to identify the frame and chevy part of it. I dnt kno the year or anything. Will there be a vin on frame? Will that give me the year? Heres some pics.... Thanks for any help

The c60 on the tag has me wondering.... Is there sucha thing as a c60?

well I would say it might be around 50-60, go to olson trucks and look at the ones there, theses trucks were heavy from 1/2 ton all the way up to 2 ton, google olson trucks it should bring you up to the page, hope this helps

It looks like late 50s to early 60s. If it has 17 or 18 in single wheels it is a 1 ton. That is an all aluminum body. They will last almost forever. It probably has a 235 6 cyl. engine with a 4 speed granny trans.

Looks like an 8-lug P30 chassis if it says Chevy on it. Here's my '63 GMC P60 bread van which is a 5/10 lug 2Ton dually.It has a few vin tags on the driver side door area with production info. Those the only tags you have?
