49 steering column removal help please

After removing the steering wheel and inside brackets, what next?

I see 4 bolts on the steering box just at the bottom of the column, is that what needs to be unbolted?

Thanks

Re: 49 steering column removal help please

I thought I answered this, pitman arm needs to come off, make location for reinstall, then box is unbolted from the frame and box with column is pulled out of the firewall. This assumes everything inside (steering wheel, shift mech, turn signal, mount to dash, etc.) has been removed or unbolted. If you are saving the stock shaft or relocating to install v8 search to find threads on that.
