Re: 1986 nissan 300ZX-V8 Swap
Completely forgot about this thread and I deeply apologize! Yes this car was completed and was promptly sold as I picked up a much cleaner '85 300ZX. The '85's stock motor was built and boosted until it blew up so a V8 swap is in the works for it as well. This time I am building a TPI 350 with a Holley Stealth Ram intake and it will be controlled with the Holley HP self learning EFI setup. My motor is at the machine shop getting finished up and it is a basic 355 with some ported Pro Comp aluminum heads that should be good for mid 400 hp plus a little nitrous.
Here is a video of the '86 Z running. and being driven by the guy I sold it too. I have no idea why he spaced the hood up as it wasn't required to clear anything.
