roof rack on 75 shell hard top.
Has anyone ever fitted a rack to the shell top on a 73 - 75 blazer? I need it to carry a couple of surfboards, nothing really heavy duty

Some blazers came with one mine did but was pulled off before I bought it I've been looking for a stock one but they ain't cheap and are hard to find for the full convertible but I'm sure you can use a aftermarket one

Have people simply bolted one through the shell ceiling? Is it tough enough to withstand the pressure that it would get with things fastened to the rack?

Cool but somewhat obtrusive. I just need a couple of bars. Might be time for a visit to picknpull.

Thinking about it. I really only need a simple roof rack that I can bolt on securely after removing from another car. There is no need for it to be an specific manufacturer as long as it fits. I see a trip to pick n pull is in my future
