Buy new or get used Custom cab Fleetside shortbox trim on side of body
I am wondering if it would be worth getting used trim and side emblems to restore or just buy new stuff from lmc truck, not sure how hard it is to remove but need some opinions on this.

The problem with originals is they are anodized and it has broken down over time and gives a dull look . You can strip them and polish it but they tarnish fast and must be constantly polished, but you may be able to clear them. You can also pay to have them reanodized but it cost more to do that then what you can buy the repop stuff. I don't know how the reproduction trim fits.

I got the trim for my 65 from Mar-k and they are very nice and if you need a full set I would get it from them. On my 66 they have been stripped and need to be polished often. Thats a pain.
