Might as well shave the head while you are at it. and bump up the compression, get some headers, a dual carb setup would be nice also and........sorry I get carried away sometimes.

got the head back today done and ready to go, in the process right now to get it back on and running , best $150.00 I ever spent......new hard seats and he replaced 1 valve , said it showed signs of starting to burn... I am very happy to find this place . get the compression up and it may be a whole new truck.... if I remember right the head torque on a 292 is 90 lbs. if not some one let me know. I will check later to see if I am right.... now back to work.

I know what you mean steelhorse it would be nice to make it a monster....but I just want to keep it going .
