Floor sound proofing question

I am in the process of putting my 69 back together. The exterior is almost done and I have started on the interior. I got new molded carpet and a factory sound proof kit from GMC Paul's. I test fit the carpet and it fits great but I can not figure out how the 3 pieces in the sound proofing kit sound fit, and if the side with the white foam rubber goes on top or bottom and last does it glue down, if so what type of adhesive should.

As always any and all help is greatly appreciated. I could not have gotten as far as I have without all the help I have found on the forum.

Re: Floor sound proofing question

I will post some pictures tomorrow.

I got my carpet a couple of weeks ago and the sound proofing came in yesterday and I can not figure out how it goes in for sure.

Nice looking truck! Just about to do a stock restoration on a 69 just like that, but in the Dark Green.

Re: Floor sound proofing question

Thanks,

I still have to finish the interior, carpet, seat etc. I am working on the original grill, I have got most of the dents and dings out of it, I need to sand, polish and then clear coat it. I also need to install new wood in the bed. I also have a set of rally wheels that I repainted for it here are a couple of pictures of them, before and after.

Re: Floor sound proofing question

Rally's will look nice. I also like the look of the stock rims you have on it now. I'm thinking of keeping the stock rims on mine.. Mind if I ask what brand/size tires you have on it now on the stock steel rims?

Re: Floor sound proofing question

Currently I have Michelin 235 75 15. I plan on keeping them as well and mayby swap them out from time to time just to change up the look a bit
