Avs digital air gauge in dash cluster
Just got done installing my new AVS gauges in the dash on my truck. I just wanted to share it with you guys so if you are having a hard time finding a spot to mount them in your truck. I was going to run analog gauges that came with my kit I bought from Travis at Pro Performance but I couldn't find a good place to mount them so I decided to upgrade to these. It's nice that I don't have to run all that air line in the cab and just some wires.
I didn't have to get any different brackets, the one that comes with the kit worked great after I bent it into shape. I did go to Home Depot and got some Lexan to replace my old worn out lense. I will be adding new Autometer gauges in the future but for now I think this setup looks pretty good. For the white gauge display on the Air Pressure I used high gloss photo paper and found a Chevy bowtie online, pasted it into Word and did a few prints with regular paper to get the sizing right before I printed it on the photo paper. Then I just cut out the center and the edges so that I could tape it into place. Here is the link to the kit, I bought it from AVS but through ebay. Shot them a best offer and got a pretty sweet deal. http://www.avsontheweb.com/product.p...6&cat=0&page=1

Wired up and works great! Snapped a night time pic real quick. I can change the display color with a push of a button! I can also set the PSI waring limits for each corner and the tank.
