brake line plumbing
I'm doing the front power disc brake conversion on my 67'. The destructions show plumbing a front right and front left line into the proportioning valve. I've done this conversion three times before and this is the first time I've seen this. I was planning on just running one line down to a block and then across to the right front as the stock setup was. Any thoughts?

A guy I spoke with about this locally about a month ago said they blocked off the line that was closest to the electrical connection on the prop valve and then just ran one line down to the tee at the crossmember.

Either way works. Some people consider two seperate lines cleaner and with fewer connections less potential for problems. Since you are doing everything I'd consider running two front lines.

Awesome. Thanks guys. Since I'm just trying to get my truck back on the road right now, I'm just gonna plug it and use the lines that are already there. Maybe I'll clean it up later on.

Realize this is old thread but just what I needed to see. I am running a 74 PV in sic conversion on my 69 and had two from brake lines coming out new PV and only single old line with T at cross member. On PV, on eline is 1/4 the other is 3/16. Original line that T's is 1/4, I am going to plug 3/16 and run single line.
