I never did find nurf bar steps that would work on my 78 with dual saddle tanks. I ended up buying universal ones and made my own mounting brackets. They are sturdy enough, and don't look bad but ended up an inch or so lower than I would have preferred. Did this thread showing how I did it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=606290

Sorry, just noticed this is an old thread and new post had nothing to do with the step bars.
