Is anyone running a watts-link ?
Hey guys, I was watching this episode of big muscle on youtube, and they were installing a watts-link on a mustang, and I thought it would be a great thing for our truck to replace panhard bars, especially on lowered trucks. I was wondering if anyone is running one, I found a company that sells a bolt on one here, But I was wanting to hear the testimonials to find out if anyone truly noticed a difference, or binding issues etc.
Here is the one I found, it is a direct bolt on for a 12 bolt. http://www.airassisted.ca/u2/gm-63-7...t-rearend.html

Re: Is anyone running a watts-link ?
Looks like a nice kit ,, I have never run a watts ,, but their claim to fame is that they dont bind , and dont change driveline centers through their movement up and down like a panard does

Re: Is anyone running a watts-link ?
Just ordered one for my bagged 71. I had one on my 88 Chevy truck awhile back before I sold it. They work great. Keeps the rear end centered at all times.

Re: Is anyone running a watts-link ?
That costs a pretty penny! Holy cats!
Watts links were popular among the old Gasser cars in the early days of drag racing. So nothing really new. These two pics show a Watts link (letter B on top pic and then sticking through the floor on bottom pic) on a '46 Willys gasser from the 60's. Gary
