72 Manual Throttle location routing for cable
I am adding this option to my 72 super with AC. I have a couple pictures from Teeitups truck he is parting. Does this look like the original routing? Seems low?
Can someone let me know if this looks correct or has another picture of a 71-72 setup installed by GM? |

That looks low to me. The one I have is not installed as the cab is undergoing repairs but I mocked the throttle up and was able to flip the coil upward so that it was well out of the way. Since my cab is stripped it might be harder for you to route the cable around the heater/ac as your truck is set up with everything in it.

The cable is short and can be tough to mount. There is a bracket located under the dash to add support for the cable as well that must be mounted. Also 71-72 goes on right side of dash, 67-70 goes on left side.
