Corvette mirrors on a C10

Anyone running the painted Vette mirrors on their trucks like the truck in the link? how is visibility on the trucks with these. I have a 78 vette with these mirrors but one thing is a low sports car and another is a truck...

They look cool. How do they do on your Corvette? Do they shack at highway speed?

Thumbs up Re: Corvette mirrors on a C10

Thes are mine on the 71. They are sport mirrors from Cal vue I think was the company! They look good and I like them a lot now that I'm use to them.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I love the mirrors on my vette they dont shake at all and have a lot of inward adjustment which I understand is an issue with the sport mirrors on these trucks

I kind of like the chrome versions myself, but to each their own right? That's the fun thing about these trucks. I'd like to try a set of these and see what they look like.

Re: Corvette mirrors on a C10

Very nice installation on the ebay truck, but they look kinda far rearward on the door to be very effective. Probably forced farther rear than what one would prefer in order to still be able to swing the vent window open.
